Great cultural offerings at the Museumsmeile
The mile of museums righteously has relevancy all across Germany. In five exhibition houses top-class art, German history and science to touch are presented. In the summer, the Museumsplatz turns into a magnet for fans of rock and pop music when open air concerts take place underneath the roof of the tent open-air-concerts. A special event for friends of classical music is the Beethovenfest in autumn with concerts at various locations all across Bonn - and also along the Museumsmeile.

Especially during the warm seasons, one has the difficulty of choice when wanting to do something. The Bonner Sommer brings with its free events and especially on week-ends a special flair to the city that very much resembles vacation. The Freizeitpark Rheinaue invites with a large open air area for walking, running, playing and celebrating. Rhein in Flammen, a free of charge music festival Rheinkultur and other celebrations turn the former national garden exhibition into a theme park.
